Inquiry Project

For my inquiry project, I am considering focusing on how students home lives affect their attitude and performance in general and in school.  I have a student in my class whose mother recently got sent to jail and it has drastically affected her life.  I believe this overriding theme of home lives affecting peoples lives affects more than just the student in my class but other students as well.

    I like this idea - it captures some of what the project is all about. You might think about doing children with incarcerated parents specifically, because it will help you with your reading and writing to have a narrower topic. Or, you might choose another aspect of home-life that changes the way students might be able to function in school.
